YOUR GUIDE TO DECIDING

You have gone on your once in a lifetime hunt and were able to bring home an amazing trophy, congratulations! Now you are unsure of how you want to have this trophy mounted. This page is designed as a resource for you to brainstorm some different things prior to your conversation with our taxidermist! Follow along to help you decide what options you have and some measurement to keep in mind.

1. First off, think about what space your home or trophy room offers. (How high are ceilings, how wide are doors, what other animals do you want to leave room for?)
2. For castor height on bases, do you have carpet or hardwood floor?
3. What type of wall is it hanging on and where are the studs? (Log interior, drywall etc.)
4. When picking out floor bases, I tend to always keep in mind most animals are preferred to be viewed eye level at 62-67 in.
* We do not build dual purpose habitats that hang on the wall and sit on the floor. We find it hard to capture the life like qualities when doing so.*

5. Picking out what type of mount:
Shoulder Mounts
- Left Turn, Right Turn, or Straight
Pedestals/Wall Pedestals
- Left Turn or Right Turn
Rugs
- Open or close mouth, felt colors available upon request
Life Size
- We specialize in custom taxidermy, you dream it we can do it!

6. Pick out base:

- We have several supply companies that specialize in barn wood, walnut and oak bases. Metal bases available upon request. *Most measurements we strongly suggest using our professional opinion to pick out the size.*

7. Habitat:
- This will be discussed when the form is picked out and ordered. The more extravagant design the more the quote will be.

*Remember, this is a guid to help our customers thing about some options prior to our phone call when all will be discussed in depth. During our conversation we will ensure to give you our best opinions in guiding you to a mount you can sit back and cherish for years to come*
